The GN Band follow on from their upbeat single 'The Line' with darker, yet still infectiously melodic Dubliners-inspired 'Worms Are The Only End', out today on South London label Double Dare (Piglet, Paddywak). The band led by George "GN" Nicholls features members of local pop bands Porridge Radio, Joanna Gruesome, SUEP, Garden Centre and The Tubs. Whilst retaining the rhythm section groove and intricate yet catchy guitar lines of its predecessor, the new single conjures a more sinister scene "of bleak, squalid British domesticity", descending into a noisy breakdown in which warped horns and distorted guitars that compete with an urgent spoken word passage from Georgie Stott (Porridge Radio, Suep).
